Local Rides

Looking for a place to ride? Here are some suggestions.  We have everything from fun rides to rip your legs off race training ranging from 15-50+ miles. Whatever your pleasure, the WNY area has got something for everyone.

Notice:  The A.G. Edwards Cycling Team is not involved with organizing, nor do they sponsor any of these rides.

This page is for informational purposes only.  All participants ride at their own risk.

Road Rides

Starbucks Ride - Cyclists love coffee, so on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. a ride leave from Starbucks in East Aurora when the weather is nice.  Once it gets warmer rides leave at 9:00. Occasionally these rides happen on Sunday's as well.

Southtowns Hill Ride - If it's hills your looking for show up at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park at 6:00pm on Tuesday evenings.  This is a big ride that usually splits into several groups.

Mountain Bike Rides

Hunters Creek - The trail network at Hunters Creek is a fun place to ride.  Group night rides occasionally happen here on Wednesday nights. The trails are multi-use, so be sure to treat hikers and equestrians courteously.

Sprague Brook - A new mountain bike trail was recently completed at Sprague Brooks by the folks at WNYMBA.  The trail is roughly 7 miles in length, and can be ridden as a loop.

Ellicottville - The possibilities here are nearly endless.  Again, WNYMBA has worked hard to create arguably some of the best riding on the east coast.  Stop in at the Ellicottville Bike Shop and talk to Dennis for more information.  WNYMBA also makes a quality map of the area.

Additional riding opportunities can be found at the WNYMBA website.
